I looked into the mirror tonight, and I didn't like the person that I've become. I don't know what changed me. Maybe it's the broken heart, maybe it's my circumstances, maybe it's the way things have gone these past month. I just don't like my self. If I can't even stand the sight of myself, how can anyone with the right mind love me for who I am?

Then it hits me. God still loves me. for all that's worth, He is the only one that I got. no one else would love me unconditionally with all the ungodliness that fills my life. Unconditional love. What a powerful phase. we throw that term around too loosely these days. Heck, even "Love" doesn't have the same meaning to it after a while. Love that God have for us, who knows every little details of our lives? now that's true love. It was love that send Christ on the cross to die for our sins. It was love that save us from the life of sins. I don't know about you, but I just felt whole lot better after being reminded of that.

There is nothing else to lose. There is nothing else to gain, "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." A piece of my self die tonight, yet I gain a whole lot more. Thank you God for your everlasting love. may I never forget the love that you have for me. Amen.

Anyways, I got nothing...lolz Can't complain right now, I am truly blessed. I really don't deserve it...

I can't believe it's been 6 months already since I've started working. Hopefully this time I'll stay longer then a year or two... who knows what the future holds. right?

I don't know who still reads this, but if you do, please do pray for my mom, she's suffering from some kind of body allergy(don't ask me what kind, cause she didn't tell me), just pray for healing from God, and pray that she will have peace in her heart, and also rest. it's hard enough for her to sleep because it's both itchy and painful, and doctors in Taiwan and China doesn't seem to be able to help her. So please. Do pray for her. thank you so very much. you have my eternal gratitude. =)

The first two are steak house that I found for the upcoming "steak night". if you guys want to go try it that is... it's the two that sounds most intriguing. STK was a recommendation from a friend who visited it recently. It's actually cheaper then I thought it would be, and she told me that the food was pretty good. So yea.. I used to know people that work in Nick and Stef, wonder if they are still there. The funny thing is that they are both part of big food groups here in South California. so I guess that's the way to go.

I came across Gus's in LA times Food section. I've been dying for some good BBQ and the pictures they have on LA times just looks too good to ignore. Along with Canyon's BBQ in Azusa, I'll have to go try it out one of these days...

I found out that the old GM at Murano is working there now, and I've always heard about this place ever since in Culinary school. Maybe it's time for a visit.

Visiting Deb was good. Sorry I didn't take any pictures. but we visited the boardwalk that Rosemead went to when you guys went on that retreat 4 or 5 years ago. The Santa Cruz beach was nice and serene, not a good place to do activities, but a great place to lay out and relax. Her church was nice. people are pretty friendly and it's nice to change scenery for a weekend.

It's dark and cold outside... heading out to dinner in less than an hour to "Murano". Suppose to be Kristi's last night, maybe I'll stay long enough to toast her good bye. last I talked to her there has been a lot of changes at the restaurant, but that just how it is i guess.

Booked a flight to San Jose this weekend. Going up to see Deborah. Finally after talking about going up to visit, I'm actually going to go. Should be a fun trip. it be good to leave LA for a weekend. Any one free to take me to the airport on Friday night? lolz

I've been some what aloof this past week, but I don't think so anymore. My mind has never been clearer then it is right now. For the first time in a while no thoughts really seems to linger. Praying that I find a job soon. I think that's all that's on my mind right now...

Part of me is kinda glad that we are not going to the beach today. It's gloomy outside, 65 degrees, and it's even colder out near the pacific. Originally I offer to open up my house for people to come over instead of the beach, but then I realized that I didn't want the trouble hosting and cleaning up afterward. Lazy maybe, but I think it's cause I just want to have some sort of a quiet weekend. Nothing fancy, just do what I want. No predetermine plans, just go with the flow.

It's a little different then my past birthdays, and I can assure you it's not because of the quarter age crisis(or what ever people are calling it). Usually I want to have everyone over, but this time it might just be me sitting in front of the tv watching the Laker game. and I think I'll be totally fine with it. Who knows?? Actually who cares? I've party enough for the past couple of weeks. time to buckle down and face reality, and get my life back on track.

I don't know what to put in this space anymore.

I'm not sure why, but I'm just filtering a lot of thoughts here in my blog. Maybe cause I don't know how to express my self in a clear way. I'm not sure why that's the case. It's one thing thinking about stuff to write, but it's another thing putting it down on paper.

Maybe I'm taking too much thought into this, maybe I"m suppose to just type away with out thinking about the consequences. It's funny how things changed so much in half a year. I've have been genuine happy for a while, yet at the same time, I've been very unhappy at the same exact moment. It's like two side of me is tugging at me and fighting for control of how I should feel and act on a certain day, heck even certain time during the day. Maybe people I met recently think that I'm a happy guy, but in reality, that's so far away from the truth. far far away.

It's easy to identify the facts, but it's hard to deal with the reality of it. Doing this divorce paper thing is really messing with me right now. I know that I should just man up and fix the problems at hand and get it over with, but at the same time, I don't want to. I'm lagging it on purpose. I've should have filed it again this past couple of days, but there is always something that came up that distract me from doing it. The truth is, I let it affect me cause anything right now it's better then doing what I'm suppose to do. That's the truth.

Restless

I've been restless for the past 24 hours... I can't seems to calm down... it's almost as if I'm waiting for something. Something that will spark me, motivate me, and whip me into shape. I don't know. being alone with out parents have been both a blessing and a curse. Sure everyone else envy the fact that there are no one to police us, no one to nag at us, and no one to tell us what to do on the daily bases... There are no parents around, so our house turns into a place where everyone comes over and meet up and just a place to chill. Then again, i think some of the things I've just listed can be also the negatives.

My psyche make up are different then others. Growing up with out a parent figure for much of my teenage years can do that to a young boy growing up. Am I mature by other people standards? perhaps... Did I turned out okay despite having no supervision for much of the last couple of years? I think so. Much of that have to do with the people that God surrounded me with. it be different if I hang out with the wrong crowd.

I don't know if I ever said this to anyone... But sometimes I wish I could just get a big spanking from someone. Get scorn by an authoritative figure in my life. Because ever since I've graduated from high school, I really didn't have to answer to anyone but my own conscience. It showed in my work. My old chef even told me that I have this attitude of not wanting to be taught. part of it is because I'm good at what I'm doing, and for the most part I know what I'm doing and I'm the one who's telling other people what to do. Another part is it's because no one really hold me accountable anywhere outside of work. There was really no one that I had to answer to. I think it's becoming to a point where i don't care, and I wanted to do what I want to do. No one can really stop me.

where am I going with this? I don't know... I really don't. I'm just reminded a certain someone who told me that I need to start taking care some of the things that are bothering me, and reluctantly I did it. Partly cause the timing was right, God make sure of that, and partly cause I was pushed. I don't want to have that happen all the time. I need to take charge. Things should be different after tomorrow. Lets pray that it's the case. I'll find out tomorrow afternoon.

P.S. Please don't read too much into this... part of me is just venting, and getting this restlessness out of my system. trust me, it helped...

What's wrong with the weather these days?

it was unbearably hot this past weekend, and now this morning I actually wanted to wear a jacket when I went to work out. No wonder there are a lot of people that are sick right now. lets hope the weather this weekend will be some what normal.

Brought the perfect push up from walmart yesterday. Tried it out this morning, it's harder then i thought it be... much do more push ups...

Me and Vince also saw some nerf guns at walmart, and thought about buying them and have a battle with our friends... but then Gorden reminded us that it's sooo 8th grade... lolz having Gorden who is probably one of the most immature 22 years old telling us that we are immature is quite funny. o well, I thought it be fun. but then again, it is kind of childish... =P

Being sick sucks... then again I was kinda stupid when I went to do my cardio this morning at the gym... Not a good idea... can you say having trouble breathing??? lolz

I was able to make it through the wedding with out too much trouble cause I was taking medicine like every 4 hours. The cold medicine stuff really works. Plus the weather being hot yesterday sorta help too.

I thought the wedding was a very beautiful one. It really was a mini reunion. saw bunch of people that I haven't seen in a long time, it's was pretty fun catching up with everyone. It seems like people have already posted up pictures, so I'll spare you guys with flipping through another photo album. But I think I'm just too lazy to post them up as well.

I might be out of line here, but here we go...

There are so much emotion that's flooding my mind right now, all of them legit, but I can't help to think that I'm just making excuses for myself... My parent's divorce paper came back today, and the court rejected it on several reasons... I told them I'm not gonna help anymore if the courts rejected it, but some how I think that I should go see this thing through. I may have to refile it, I may have to get the respected party to sign for the papers again, I may have to get some legal help as far as properties are concern... There are a lot of things that I may have to do. yet, I don't feel as bad as the first time it happened. It's almost if I expected it to come back rejected... Now it's more disappointment then anything else. It's as if it's never going away. There are only handful of you guys that knows what I've been going through this past couple of month, now I'm blogging about it. Ha! what a turn of events huh?

I don't expect this to make a lot of sense to a lot of people, but I'm comfortable enough to get it out there and sharing it with the world.

What I'm gonna do about it? I don't know... I still need to talk to my parents about it, but as far as me dealing with it internally, I think I'm done with that. I needed some one to talk to, and for the better part of this past couple of months, I have found that person. She thinks that I'm doing her a favor by taking her to places, but I really think that she's helped me out more then I could ever expected from somebody. I thank God for her every time I see her. Although our hearts may not be at the same place at the same time, it doesn't matter, all that matter is that you were there for me when I needed some one to talk to and to vent, and that's all i can ask for. I wouldn't trade this past two months for the world. This is how I feel right now, it is going somewhere? only God knows. But the process sure is fun though...

My mind is blank right now.

For the first time In a while, I didn't want to talk. I just want some peace and quiet as time goes by. I'm very anti social right now. most of the time i have no problem coming up with topics to talk about, or being some what clever, but this past couple of days it's been extremely difficult just to hold a normal conversation.

I can't even express my self clearly right now... I've rewritten this thing like 3 times already... o well, I give up... Nothing more I can do.

If I learned anything from this past week, it's that carrying around all those dead weight issues did wonders for my psyche. thanks to all who listen to me these past couple of days, and allowing me to unload all those issues. It was both emotionally and mentally draining but it was well worth it. There are few more loose ends to tie up, but overall it's done. what a relive.

Now if I can just do something about this joblessness problem that I have... Please pray for me.

Some one said I looked extra happy today, yet after I got home I felt a little irritated. I think it's just some people don't respect my space, and that pissed me off a little bit. I don't think it's just me though, if someone came over and use any of your things with out your permission, I think all of us would be a little irate. Some people think it's funny how reactionary I become. But that's just me, I'm a little temperamental when it comes to the subject of respect. If I was to go over to someone else's place I would show the owner respect, in return I would like the same when you step into my home. It's common sense... but then again, there are always people that doesn't have common sense. It's sad...

Anyways enough ranting, it's nice to get it out of my system.

Lunch around Steve's office was pretty good. The area was pretty ghetto, but Jeff and I survived the walk back to our cars. haha there weren't really any dangers to begin with, but I'm just saying. =) I definitely want to go try Langer's next time. I'll call you guys again. =)

Insomnia has a weird effect on people. I can't sleep... well at normal hours anyway, from 2 am to 7 am I'm wide awake, I haven't been able to sleep during those hours for the past 5 days. good thing I'm not working, other wise I'll never be able to make it to work. maybe I should just tough it out today, and stay awake until 10 or 11 at night.

Can you imagine what life would be like if you have no purpose? sure we were raise by our parents to get a great education, graduated from school. Then you find work, and hopefully find a nice person to settle down with, have kids, you raise them and the cycle continues. It really doesn't make sense now does it? There is got to be more to that then life. Thank God there is more to that then life. We were all created in the image of God, there is a purpose for our lives, and although I'm not really sure what that purposes are as pertain to my life, I know that I live to serve God in what ever capacity i can serve Him in.

It's been hard trying to find that purpose for the past couple of months. In fact, that is one of the reason why I've no longer working at "Murano". I must say I feel like I let a lot of people down. Especially Kristi. But the truth of the matter is, I wasn't able to justified me working there other then just collection a pay check every two weeks. There is no purpose. To this day I still don't have a clear cut goal as to what I want to do as far as my ministry to God. Perhaps more mediation and prayers will answer that for me.

As far as looking for another job, please keep me in your prayers. I love that Will wrote to me on my Christmas cards,"when God closes a door, He will open another one." I am truly at peace with the whole job searching thing. I know that God will provide me with the best opportunity for me and that's all the assurance I need. Glory to God for all He has done in my life. For that I can honestly said that I am blessed.

It's a good time to work on my character as well. Thank God for the wonderful messages two weeks in a row.

The Conditions were all that bad yesteryday. There was patches of ice on seveal paths, but over all it was a good day for practice carving since the surface wasn't the best. I must say, i found the picture with the tree amusing. It's as if someone throw a giant snowball at it. only it hit the bottom half of the tree. =)

Snow was nice yesterday at Snow Summit. Beautiful day, blue sky, the whole mountain covered in white snow thanks to the storm from last weekend, pack powder runs. It was very nice... A little cold though, but still better then the past couple of times I snowboard there. Anyone wants to go next Monday?

Some one once said to me, "Time does not wait for anyone." I woke up this morning and realized it's Thursday already. Half a week has gone by. I really don't have a idea if I did anything productive this week. it just zoom by like it's not even there.

Went to check out Chef Osley's new restaurant in Claremont this past Sunday. It's doing so well after only opening for 5 weeks (215 covers on Saturday night). In case you are wondering, the place is call "3 forks chop house" in a downtown surrounding. I'll go back some time this month to try their chef's table. I've never been disappointed by his tasting menu. so naturally I can't wait to see what he comes up with for the Chef's table dinner.

It is really September already? Can't believe summer is over already. We went out to Ten Ren after watching "Blades of Glory", and I was cold wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Time to bust out the sweaters and jackets. before long there will be snow, and snowboarding season will be upon us once again. Hopefully we'll get more snow this year.

So me and Jeff are thinking of going to Utah this season. Anyone else wants to go?

Heard something over the radio yesterday, a man found his roommate decaying in her room with stab wounds. And get this, that is the same man who found another one of his roommate died of drug overdose a year earlier. Unlucky man, or unlucky room? Bet the guy is never gonna get another roommate.

Earthquakes

So I guess there were two more earthquakes on monday... I didn't even feel them. Although it was quite minor, I can't help but think it's a prelude to the big one. Makes you think about things more. I don't know I think I'm just paranoid, but it's one of the many things you have to worry about if you live in California.

I had a headache for the most of the day... it might be the effect of staying in the air condition house for better part of the weekend... hopefully it will go away soon.

So far this weekend I gotten about 6 hours of sleep... stupid green tea from Ten Ren... haha thanks for the drinks Kev. finally played halo with the boys after not been able to due to our busy schedules. We were up until 5 playing. I must say once in a while staying up all night is okay, especially being so hot outside.

I have to say I was surprise that the rolling black outs haven't hit my house yet, but then again, I think I might be jinxing my self. crossing my fingers... =)

Scary moment

One of our dish washers slip tonight, and cut him self cause the plates he was carrying broke. He has a pretty bad cut just below his left wrist. Thank God it wasn't closer to his artery. pretty scary moment. We call 911 and the paramedics came and took him to the hospital. Hope everything is okay.

Jeremy and Tiffany came to Murano tonight with couple of their friends. Hope everything was okay. Sorry I didn't get a chance to say good bye, and get some feedback from you all. I'll get it later I guess.

I've been praying on the drive home tonight. Just me talking to God, I really thought it was rather productive. Got lots of thoughts running through my head, it's nice to be able to have some quite time to my self. I think I'm due for a solitary trip to somewhere just to reflect.

It's Friday already?

Every week when I go to work on Tuesday I begin to countdown in my head how many more days I have until my weekend starts. I don't think I'm the only one that does it, but does it mean that I'm getting weary of work, I secretly wish for the weekend to get here faster? Or it's just a normal thing of having a weekend? But then again, time does fly in the kitchen, we been pretty busy so things keep popping up to keep us occupy, and all the sudden it's time to clean up already. So I can't really complain about that.

Jeremy is coming to visit tonight. That should be fun.

Disney Land

So went to Disney land on Monday. I seriously didn't think I would have as much fun as I did. But you know how things turns out. It's never the same as we expected. There were times where I felt like I was out of place, but seeing all those happy faces around me only solidify the thought that I did the right thing deciding to take the kids from Prison ministry to Disney Land. Overall the experience was a pleasant one. It wasn't too much fun waking up at 7 in the morning, but it was well worth it. Thanks to Tom for coming with me. He definitely helped out a lot, keeping them company, and helping me chaperon them around. So big thanks to Shadow.

Saw the fire today in Hacienda Heights? Hope everyone that evacuated from their homes are okay. Plus I think there were 39 injured firefighters. I'm praying for you all now.

My Hyundai got locked in the parking structure today. usually they will come get me if the parking attendants are leaving early, but today they didn't, prob. cause I forgot my parking tag, so they didn't know who's car it was. Thanks to Kristi, I took her car, I was able to get home. I owe you one Chef. =)

I've resume my work out schedule this past weekend. I finally decided to bring my workout cloth along when I go to work, and just go straight to the gym after work. We'll see if it continues after this week...

Been pretty busy at work, they move me back to the grill last week, so I've been sweating a lot more standing in front of it. We were serving 12 oz Veal chop past weekend, and makes me want to buy a rack from Newport meat company... $13 a pound... maybe if I have to cook dinner for some special reason. =)

I feel like most of my friends are being Jacka**es right now. It's time to play what have you done for me lately. Which is suffice to say, nada. Too many things on my mind with no one to talk to about, cause everyone is busy with their own thing. Which is fine, they are my problems and I don't want to bother other people about it. At least treat me with the same courtesy in which I treated you. I really don't need friends that only come to you when they need something. After they got their fill, they leave. It's time to rethink about all my relationships around me. Time for some changes.

It's one thing to talk smack behind someone's back, but it's another to be talking about it 24/7, and to everyone about it as well. You have a problem with some one deal with it with that person. Tire of hearing the same conversation being brought up 7 or 8 times. Don't go talking about it with everyone you know. Especially don't bring innocent bystanders into the middle of it.

I hate playing meddler between my friends who has troubles getting along with each other. I'm sick of it. I don't want to have to make sure that I can only hang out with certain person at a certain time. I'm not gonna make plans around who's not getting along with who. that's just stupid. I'm not gonna choose between my friends. I'm just not going to do it. If it ever come down to that, I will choose to get new set of friends to hang out with. Plain and simple.

A person can only put up with so much... It's just getting more then I can handle. I don't know. I think it might have been me. Maybe I'm the one who's pushing people away from me when ever things gets rough. Maybe I'm the one to blame for not being so confrontational. It would be nice if we can just all get along. But I realize that it's not that simple. Even the best of friendships can have faults in it. I'm learning it first hand.

Today was a slow night at work. We get one of these night per week. It usually turns out to be Tuesday, but this week it was Thursday... Kinda helped us out though. Cause Tuesday was super busy, we were able to get the 4Th off. So it all worked out.

I didn't get to see a lot of fire works yesterday. Perhaps next year I'll be able to plan a trip to a place where they show fireworks. Hollywood bowl comes to mind... or the Rose bowl.

We did 125 covers last night... plus a cocktail party for 100 people in the bar. It was like a busy Friday night or something... First of all, can't believe it's July already.

I had a blast this past weekend.

Saturday, Joy took me Maddie and Joyce to Hollywood bowl to attend the Sound of Music Sing along. I never saw the movie before that, and I don't think I will. Something about watching a classic with 18000 people makes the experience special. It will never be the same if I pop the movie in at home. Somethings you just need to experience in person, that was one of it.

Sunday went to church, listen to Jeff spoke about his Rwanda trip. Looks like he learned a lot, and it was a good start to the P.E.A.C.E. plan that Pastor Rick Warren trying to implement. After Church, we went to Jamba Juice and just sit around and chatted for couple of hours. There were so many people pouring in to Jamba Juice the whole time we were there. I bet those people working were tired after the rush that never seem to end(sounds familiar).

Monday, I went to Six flags with Bethany, Bethany's cousin Jake and Drew. It was a little weird group, but it was fun. It was way too hot, but at least the line was short. The longest line was for roaring rapids, which was about little more then an hour or so. We had to wait a little for De-Javu, but other then that, nothing else had a line. We were able to ride on all the good roller coasters with practically no waiting. even X was only like 10 minutes or so. It was the shortest I ever had to wait. So that makes the heat a little bearable.

Glad I didn't have to work today until 3:30. I was knock out once I went to bed. should be a fun week of working.

It's been a while

Wow, felt like a long time since I last blog... but then it's only couple of days... haha Lets see, what's been going on in Will's world?

Quick recap.

My mom came back last month for the shoe show in NYC, then afterwards she came home for about a week. It was good seeing her. I'm totally not use to having parents around. But hey, it was good hanging out with her and stuff. Cook her a nice prime rib dinner before she left. It wasn't as flavorful as the ones we had last year for Thanksgiving. I think I just needed to age it for couple of days. The flavor wasn't all there.

Took my mom up to Marina, CA to my aunt's house. it's middle of no where right next to Monterrey Bay. It's quite and peaceful, with nothing around. I seriously saw farmlands like couple of minutes from her house. It was pretty cool. Had dinner at this little place called the fish house. nice seafood joint. It wasn't too hard to look into the kitchen, it's soo small in there, makes me glad I have a new kitchen to work at Murano. They had like 6 or 7 special that day, it was what ever they have fresh catch of the day. Oh yea, we had the banana foster for desert, they flambe it table side, so it was a pretty cool show. Food was pretty good. I'll go visit again.

I left for Marina on a Thursday, and got back to Murano at 6pm on Friday, and worked that night. It was an interesting experience. I was dead by the time we cleaned up and everything. Hopefully I'll never have to do it again.

My work schedule is pretty set now. I'm working from Tuesday to Saturday, and get Sunday and Monday off. It's pretty cool I actually get a weekend. So I'm very thankful for that.

Lots of stuff happen at work, but too much to type here. Maybe next time.

This is a good story and is true, please read it all the way through until the end!

I am a mother of three (ages 14, 12, and 3) and have recently completed my college degree.
The last class I had to take was Sociology.
The teacher was inspiring with the qualities that I wish every human being had been graced with. Her last project of the term was called, "Smile."

The class was asked to go out, smile at three people, and document their reactions.
I am a very friendly person, always smile at everyone, and say hello anyway. So, I thought this would be a piece of cake, literally. Soon after we were assigned the project, my husband, youngest son, and I went out to McDonald's one crisp March morning.

It was just our r way of sharing special playtime with our son.

We were standing in line, waiting to be served, when all of a sudden, everyone around us began to back away, and then even my husband did. I did not move an inch... an overwhelming feeling of panic welled up inside of me as I turned to see why they had moved.

As I turned around I smelled a horrible "dirty body" smell, and there standing behind me were two poor homeless men. As I looked down at the short men, close to me, he was "smiling".

His beautiful sky blue eyes were full of God's Light as he searched for acceptance.He said, "Good day" as he counted the few coins he had been clutching. The second man fumbled with his hands as he stood behind his friend. I realized the second man was mentally challenged and the blue-eyed gentleman was his salvation.

I held my tears as I stood there with them.

The young lady at the counter asked him what they wanted. He said, "Coffee is all Miss" because that was all they could afford. (If they wanted to sit in the restaurant and warm up, they had to buy something. He just wanted to be warm).

Then I really felt it - the compulsion was so great I almost reached out and embraced the little man with the blue eyes. That is when I noticed all eyes in the restaurant were set on me, judging my every action.

I smiled and asked the young lady behind the counter to give me two more breakfast meals on a separate tray.

I then walked around the corner to the table that the men had chosen as a resting spot. I put the tray on the table and laid my hand on the blue-eyed gentleman's cold hand.

He looked up at me, with tears in his eyes, and said, "Thank you." I leaned over, began to pat his hand, and said, "I did not do this for you. God is here working through me to give you hope."

I started to cry as I walked away to join my husband and son. When I sat down my husband smiled at me and said, "That is why God gave you to me, Honey, to give me hope." We held hands for a moment and at that time, we knew that only because of the Grace that we had been given were we able to give.

We are not churchgoers, but we are believers.

That day showed me the pure Light of God's sweet love. I returned to college, on the last evening of class, with this story in hand.I turned in "my project" and the instructor read it.

Then she looked up at me and said, "Can I share this?" I slowly nodded as she got the attention of the class.

She began to read and that is when I knew that we as human beings and being part of God share this need to heal people and to be healed.

In my own way, I had touched the people at McDonald's, my son, instructor, and every soul that shared the classroom on the last night I spent as a college student. I graduated with one of the biggest lessons I would ever learn:UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE.

It was Jean and Jackson's wedding anniversary yesterday, and they were nice enough to come over to Murano and celebrated there. It's nice also seeing Little Josephine, along with Lillian. Thanks for coming guys, we should have taken some pictures. Oh well... I can remember seeing Jo Jo looking around in her chair when I looked at their table from the kitchen. It was quite amusing. Our GM Peter, came back and joked that a smart young lady was asking for ketchup, and that young lady was Josephine. haha. I got a laugh out of that one. I guess it's official. She's the center of attention no matter where she goes... Anyways I hope your dinner was good... Too bad I couldn't go out there and talk to you guys some more... So here is the thing now, if you guys comes over, the servers can bring you back in the kitchen(when we are not busy of course), and we can chat there. One way to make sure we get to see who's visiting us. Plus you get to see my office sort to speak.

Had the last two days off. It feels kinda nice. I essentially have a weekend now. I'm taking this Thursday off to drive my mom up to Marina, then I might have to come back on Friday night to work. We'll see how it goes...

I realized that I never said thank you to those people that made it out to the BBQ two weeks ago. Man, it's been two weeks already? wow... but yea, thank you all for coming out, hopefully no one got sick off the food. It was great to see everyone here at my house. We'll do it again soon. =)

It's another week. Time sure fly by when you don't keep track huh?

When I do hear about high mileage cars, I wonder where do those people go to rack up those mileages? now that I heard about Steve's 2800 miles a month, I finally knew... Crazy commuter you. I could never drove that far for one month straight... and I thought my work was far. tisk tisk... you really should find a place down there Steve.

did nothing today... was suppose to go to " Eat on Sunset" to visit, but can't find anyone to go with me, or I didn't even bother to ask... haha next time... that's what I always said...

So I think I'm ready for another week of work, plus mom is coming home on Thursday. So that will be fun.

What a week it was...

So last week was pretty interesting. I had the stomach flu, I was throwing up all over the place. At work, at home... but yea, went into work on Friday and throw up twice before service started, so they had to send me home, on Saturday, I throw up once during service, only cause I tasted some food that I don't think I should have. So I haven't tasted much of stuff that I made. Hopefully must of the stuff I put out it's editable. but yea, hopefully no one gets sick from the food I put out. I was able to eat more last night, with out incident. So I'm assuming that it's okay to eat again. ha ha we'll see what happen.

It's kinda weird too, cause we had 80 covers on Tuesday, but less then 50 the next two days combine. that was weird. to have a busier Tuesday then a Thursday. and now it's Monday.

BTW, the place Jeremy went to looks very nice. I want to go there to eat as well one of these day. =)

Felt better today. I was able to keep some food down as well. After drinking nothing but two bottle of Gatorade yesterday, some food was nice. I also slept about 16 hours yesterday. So that kinda help eased the headache and the aching pain in my body. My head still hurts a bit, but we'll see how it goes later when I have to work.

We did about 80 covers last night. That's a very good number considering usually Tuesday nights are pretty slow(well the first few weeks was anyway). I think the trend will continue... now about that brunch...

So work's been busy lately. This past week we've been sold out on seats every single day. Today will be no exception. I must say, it's both fun and tiring at the same time. I'm just out of energy by the end of the night. Oh yea, thank you all for the happy birthday messages. I got all of them. I'll see most of you on Sunday.

Number 1: March 10Th - 12Th, 2007. It could be that I got back from that trip two months ago, or that reception at Anna's wedding was the best one I been to (so far)(Especially the food). This trip reminded me why it was so hard to leave New Jersey 9 years ago, cause of friends like them. I'm pretty sure I blogged about it before, but being back there made me remember all the good times I had going to Church everyone Sunday afternoon, and of course the family camps as well. it's like we never skip a beat. I saw someone else at the cocktail party before the reception, I only met him when I went back to visit the first time after I moved to LA. Surprisingly, he still remembers me, and we were catching up as if we were long time friends or something. There is an air of familiarity that surrounding us when I there. It almost felt like I was home again. Home with the people that brought me to Christ the first time, home with everything you want but it's three thousand miles away. Lets keep in touch. I value you guy's friendship too much to let it slip away. Thank God for that trip, Thank God for His love , mercy and grace that is ever lasting.

With that, I say good bye to year number 23, and hello to year number 24. I hope this year will be fill with more memories that will further shape me as a better person. Thank God for the blessing of Life.

Moment Number 2 : May 25Th, 2006. We were at Deb's graduation before, and after dinner, I went to Guppy's with Emerald and Verishe, just cause I feel like staying out, and didn't want to go home. it was sooo crowded that we got our stuff to go, while waiting for our shave ice, some one else order a brick toast thing, and I commented that it smell really good, and maybe next time I should get one. Then couple of minutes after, Verishe said that her brother called her and ask her for food, so she was going to order the brick toast for him. We waited for a while if I remember correctly. So then we got our stuff, and left for Emerald's house, since it was just couple of blocks away, so then we ate shave ice in her front room, and then a little after mid night, they brought the toast out with a candle on it. it didn't really look to appealing, but it sure smell great. So yea, Thanks again to the girls that made my last birthday so memorable. =)

Number 3: March 30Th, 2007. One day trip to Las Vegas. So after I got back from my NY trip, I was describing all the food that was served at the reception at the wedding I attended to Gorden on the way back from the air port. We got so hungry talking about it, that we were trying to find something that will satisfied our taste buds... sort to speak. So we decided on the Wynn's buffet in Vegas. We have gone there once before, with all the boys on our Vegas trip last September. So right before I was to start working for "Murano", me and Gorden talked about going to just eat at the Wynn. So we called up Garrick and ask if he was willing to go with me to Vegas just to eat, and plus play a little =). So Being such good sport, also can't helped being attracted by the bright lights of Vegas, He took along his girlfriend Jessica along with me and Gorden, I drove the 4 of us out to Vegas on March 30Th. I called it, last road trip before I start working. =) So we got there around 5 pm, and we went straight to Wynn, and sat in the buffet table for about 2 and a half hours. Then I went to play poker, and they went to Caesar to sight seeing, and we met up later in Paris with our friend Larry, and we chill until 1 o'clock, then I drove back to Hacienda Heights... Needless to say, we got back around 5:30 am, and I slept most of Saturday, until 4 in the afternoon I think... Given the chance to do it again... Maybe I will, but someone else got to switch out with me driving... haha
